Jackson State gets two Memphis sleepers The sleeper.

What every coach searches for as he combs the states for prospects. Jackson State head man Deron Hines did not have to travel far to find his guys. Memphis Carver to be exact.

The Carver backcourt duo of Fred Cotton and Darryl Phillips have pledged their allegeance to the Jakcson Tennessee campus. Cotton, a 6-1 guard, is highly skilled and will thrive with the extra year of tuteledge under Hines. Phillips, a 6-1 combo, has the ability to run either guard spot and will love the uptempo style of the Tigers.

Jackson State is a member of the TJCCAA.
