Anvil Nelson (Brentwood)

"The Natural" was a jack of all trades to the highest degree this past Saturday at CPA.

Jack Montague (Brentwood) delivered 35 points and double digit assists leading Tennessee an 81-74 victory over North Carolina capturing the inaugural Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League title.

Controlling the tempo of the game and scoring when the situation called for it, Montague was critical in his teams rise.

Brandon Cook (CPA) and Atul Agnihotri (Brentwood) finished with 15 and 11 respectively for the winners.

Montague's scoring exploits overcame another sterling game for powerful Anvil Nelson (Brentwood). The bruiser scored 30 and captured the league scoring crown with his efforts. James Cox (Brentwood) added 21 in the loss.

Montague led a balanced Tennessee scoring attack in the semi-final win over Florida (74-63). "The Natural" dropped 20 points while Donterio Dansby (Harpeth) added 18 and Jake Whitney (Ravenwood) finished with 14.

Skyler Sims (CPA) led all scorers with 29 in the loss. Ryan Gentle (FRA) added 10.

Nelson was again the top dog scoring 37 points leading North Carolina past Georgia Tech in their semi-final win (80-73). Josh Williams (Lipscomb) scored 12, James Upshaw (Culleoka) added 11, and Alex Thomas (Ensworth) contributed 10 in the win.

Jonathan Fields (White's Creek) finished with 31 for Tech. Joining him in the scoring column were Montrae Williams (Spring Hill) with 17, Taylor Akers (CPA) finished with 12 and Kiont Jones (Spring Hill) added 10.
