Dickson County sleeper leads his team to a huge upset over the 17's.
John Primm (Dickson County) dropped 18 points and took home MVP honors while leading his Mid-State Ballerz Select 16's to a 70-60 upset over the heavily favored Mid-State Ballerz Elite 17's at the annual Ballerz Challenge of Champions.
Primm and his teammates took the challenge personally and outplayed the Elite in all facets of the game. Assisting Primm in the scoring column were Jamal Morris (East Literature) with 16 and Lavonte Henderson (Clarksville) with 10. The Elite were led by Deveyon Hunter (Hamilton) with 13, Kevin Smith (Riverdale) with 12, Josh Sain (Liberty Tech) with 11 and Shawn Merriweather (Clarksville) with 10.
