Maddux Takes The Reigns at CPA PDF Print E-mail

New coach brings discipline and desire to solid program. There's good news and bad news.

Bad news first, one of the top up and coming coaches on the summer basketball scene in Tennessee will be departing. Drew Maddux, the former Vanderbilt and Goodpasture star, will only be at the helm of his talented Tennessee Tigers team for the remainder of the summer.

Now the good news

CPA has hired the aforementioned Maddux as their head basketball coach. Maddux will bring a world of knowledge and excitement to the program. The Nashville native will remain close to home and command a fresh presence in the Music City High School scene.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Drew as the summer has progressed and I have no doubt his enthusiasm and knowledge will make the transition without a hitch. CPA plays in Class AA and competes in region 5 and district 4.
