How our guys are fairing in the event.
The NBPA Camp continures to roll along and here is a quick update on how the three Tennessee players are fairing:
Gerald Robinson
Gerald tweaked his wrist on the first day of action but being the warrior that he is he continued to play. With his wrist feeling better he had a Tennessee guys high score of 9 points in the evening game on Friday night. Gerald is arguably the quickest player in the camp and has used this to score break away buckets and beat his defender off the dribble. With the wrist hurting he has not attempted to shoot the outside shot and his defense is steadily improving. I think Gerald has shown he is an elite player and his recruitment will show as such as he travels to adidas the following week. Gerald's scoring in the games has been 4-6-4-4-4-9. Remember the games are 20 minute halves and each player only plays 10 minutes per. So they play an actual 20 minutes per game.
Terrence Oglesby
Big T.O. has labored a bit with the crazy make-up of the camp. Point guards rule the day and not much actual offense is played meaning not alot of sets or anything like that. Terrence struggled with this aspect the first couple of days but used it to his advantage playing his best game in the Friday night finale. His shot is true and will show out on Saturday as the playoffs begin. Terrence's scoring has been 4-6-2-6-7-8.
Antwaine Wiggens
Twain has really labored with the structure of the camp. He appears to be slightly injured and that has effected his aggressiveness. His team has ballhogs and Twain has conceded to let them score and he tries to hep on the boards and on defense. |
