A look back at how Tennessee High School players have been ranked among the nations best. I thought it would be fun to go back through the archives of some of the top recruiting services, namely HoopScoop and Bob Gibbon's All-Star Sports since they have been around the longest and since I do work for both , and see how the prep players from Tennessee have been ranked over the years.

The archives go back to 1983 and finish in 2005. I compiled the list and approximate ranking for each player from each year. This was quite an undertaking but I thought it would be fun to see who made it and who was highly thought of and did not make it for one reason or another.

I found it interesting that some guys were extremely highly thought of and never panned out and other barely made the Top 100 and are playing in the league. I only took players ranked from 1-100 depending on the year, some only went to 50 and listed them accordingly.I listed the High School if available or if I knew it myself.
