Last year Brentwood Academy and nationally ranked Branden Wright made the magical mystery tour playing in tourney after tourney on the national level and leaving a long list of victims in their midst. Liberty Tech will be doing the same this season.

The Crusaders dropped nationally ranked American Christian 74-61 in the second round of the prestigious City of Palms Classic in Ft. Meyers Florida.

Liberty made short work of AC and consensus Class of 2008 top dog Tyreke Evans with stiffling defense and unselfish attention to the offensive end of the floor.

Senior Josh Sain continued his brilliant play netting 33 points and making believers of all the media and coaches in attendance. The 6-5 combo scored from all over the floor and was excellent on the defensive end of the court.

Sain was complemented in scoring by the brothers Long, Jewan with 13 and Antwan with 12. Those in attendance were also quick to highlight the accomplishments of the Ant. Anthony Sampson was a gnat on defense and made solid passes to worthy teammates all game long.
