A recap of last weeks games of the week East Tennessee:

Austin East 67
Bearden 62

A Knoxville battle between arguably the areas best AAA team against the areas best AA team ended with the AA bunch getting the upper hand in a hard fought 67-62 victory.
Stephen Kite led the way for the Roadrunners with 24 who led most of the game until a torrid 16-3 Bearden run closed the gap to 59-58. Austin East was able to convert foul shots to close out the contest and collect the victory. Tony White Jr. led the Bulldogs with 25 points in defeat.

Middle Tennessee

Siegel 64
Oakland 61

Jimmy Oden layed in his own missed foul shot to give the Seigel Stars a 64-61 victory over city and district nemesis Oakland. Oden, who dropped 25 big points on the Patriots, was determined to help Seigel avenge their only district setback at the hands of Oakland. Seigel led almost the entire contest until a furious Oakland surge closed the gap to 60-59. Exchanging foul shots before the Oden putback the Patriots had numerous chances to take the lead but could not cash in. Chaisson Allen led Okaland with 26 points and was complemented by Jaffarious Wade with 17. Keith Ramsey chipped in 17 for Seigel.

West Tennessee

Oakhaven 69
Sheffield 64

Randy Culpepper scored a game high 31 points, but Terry Simmons led his Oakhaven squad to a 69-64 victory in this battle of 16AA foes. The game was billed as a scoring dual between two of the Bluff City's top scorers. Simmons did manage 24 big markers in leading his squad to victory. Oakhaven also go 16 points from Ladarius Turner and 10 from Reggie Temple. Sheffield got 18 from Darwin Johnson .
