The nominees for the McDonald's All American game from Tennessee have been officially annnounced. The list has a distinctive West Tennessee flavor with six of the eight nominees residing in that portion of the state.
The nominees are:
Thaddeus Young-Memphis Mitchell (Georgia Tech)
Branden Wright-Brentwood Academy (North Carolina)
Brandon Powell-Memphis Mitchell (Florida)
Jarvis Varnado-Haywood County (Mississippi State)
Wayne Chism-Bolivar Central (Tennessee)
Willie Kemp-Bolivar Central (Memphis)
Keith Ramsey-Murfreesboro Seigel
Lee Liggons-Haywood County

The official squad will be announced on February 22nd. The game will take place on March 29 at San Diego State University.
