State ranked foes battle as Pickett County and Jackson County tangle in one semifinal game. Friednship Christian got a big game from Michael Teeter to advance and take on Trousdale County.

REGION 5A:

Both district top seeds fell at the hands of a four from the opposite district. East Literature defeated Cascade to move on and play Nashville Christian. Pre-season top dog Eagleville came on strong defeating top seed White House-Heriatge and advancing to fight again with Forrest.

REGION 6A:

Another region heading for the potential matchup of state ranked squads. Top seed Culleoka and DeMario Williams, slayed their way to the semi's to take on Collinwood while the other district top seed Summertown gets state ranked Moore County and super guards Tyler Jean and Georgio Alexander.

REGION 7A:

A huge clean sweep for the toughest district in the state bar none. Peabody shermaned top seed West Carroll to get a match with Lake County and their scoring machine, which saw big Russell Avery drop 29 on Clarksburg. On the other side Union City, with Mr. Basketball nominee M.J. Brown, gets another game with Humboldt for the chance to move on.

REGION 8A:

The clean sweep for district 16A gives us a potential barnburner with Middleton and Middle College tangling for the fourth time this year. The Memphis small schools Westside and Manassas get the other semi-final to see who moves along.
