The fields are set. Eight finalists from the three classifications are set to make the trek to Murfreesboro.

Bradley Central was in for a battle. The Warriors from Sparta (White County) came to Cleveland with victory on their collective minds. They almost pulled it off. Bradley got 29 points from Clemson signee Terrence Oglesby and slipped the energetic bunch 73-67.

Bradley fought for the lead the entire game ending the third quarter knotted at 56 each. The Bears got a couple foul shots from senior Kyle Groothuis, who finished with 19 points, and a big three from Ogelsby and held the slip lead till the end. MTSU signee Keith Dodd recorded another double/double with 10 points and 10 boards.

White County was led in scoring by junior Tyler Greene with 19, classmate Kyle Delaney with 18 and Josh Brown with 12. The Sparta Warriors played a great offensive game scoring timely threes and getting after every loose ball and rebound.

For the record it would be a travesty if these juniors from White County did not get a chance to play with someone this summer. They can shoot the ball and have great effort on the defensive end. Kyle Delaney, Tyler Greene and Josh Brown are all solid players with a winning mentality.

I will have a more in-depth capsule on the games posting tomorrow.
