The Tennessee Travelers and Tennessee YOMCA Tigers rpresnt well in Orlando at 16 and under Super Showcase.

The summer season goes into the homestretch with events all over the country, but specifically Vegas and Orlando.

The 16 and under Super Showcase features two of the top 16's in the Volunteer state with the Tennessee Travlers and Tennessee YOMCA Tigers making their respective presence felt.

The Travelers cruised through pool play unblemished at 3-0 led by William Moore (Chattanooga Christian). The 6-4 slasher made Orlando his personal Disneyworld and has decided to close the summer with a burst. Other Travs who continue to play well include James Gallman (Fulton) and Ashlon Adams (Science Hill).

Advancement to the Gold Bracket would not prove to be as kind as the Travs fell to a very good Arkansas Wings squad.

The Tigers, coming off a sterling Peach Jam performance, finished second in their pool and advancing to the silver bracket. Their 2-1 record in pool play must have lit a spark as they continue to rampage through this bracket, winning against Team Stat and defeating the Carolina Celtics to remain alive.

Leading the charge for the Tigers are Taverrus Jefferson (Ensworth) and John Jenkins (Station Camp). Jenkins has pushed his presence front and center garnering high praise for his play at Peach Jam and continuing this high level here in Mickey's World. The 6-3 shooter will excellerate his learning curve when he adds some change of speed drives and more movement off the bounce. His future is very bright and getting brighter.
