Big man makes his college choice.
The proof is in the results. A great consistent summer can and will elevate you to realizing your dream of playing college basketball.
The proof is Robert Elam. The 6-8 inside improving baller decided to end his college choosing process early. Pledging to become a Governor and stay in Tennessee to attend Austin Peay.
Elam, who played last season at Pioneer Christian, will ball this year for Nashville Christian Advancement after Pioneer discontinued it's basketball program. Coach Carl Reed also made the move to NCA along with a strong returning nhucleus.
Elam made great strides this summer playing for the Mid-State Ballerz gaiuning confidence and proving he belonged on the D1 level. His all out hustle and desire make him a great prospect for the future. The big man controlled the glass and even managed to hand out a few rejections along the way.
Coach Dave Loos will love the toughness and fire that Elam brings to the table. His presence inside should mesh nicely with the Governors stable of OVC athletes.
So the cry's from Nashville today seem to be Let's go Peay!
Congrats to Robert.
