![]() John Primm Dickson County tough guy gets his D1 opportunity. What a weekend for Dickson County rising senior John Primm. The 6-2 point man/quarterback tosses a couple of touchdowns on Friday night. Then hops in the car and plays his tail of at the Freed-Hardeman showcase before making an official visit to UNC-Asheville on Sunday. With Carolina on his mind, Primm decided to end all speculation and call Asheville home for the next four years. Primm took a huge step this summer displaying his offensive talents which meshed perfectly with his trademark defensive toughness. His outside shot had become a weapon and his confidence was at an all time high. Running with the Mid-State Ballerz, Primm showed out at the biggest events and caught the eye of many mid to low D1 schools. Future coach Eddie Beidenbach will love the effort and intensity that Primm brings to the table and the folks in Asheville will help him become a fan favorite. Big South opponents beware here come J.P. The commitment of Primm brings the Class of 2008 count to eight. Now the effiecient leader will attempt to guide his gridiron pals to the playoffs before embarking on a memorable senior campaign with his hoops peers. Good luck to John in everything he does. |
