Tennessee High star stays home
The old saying you can go home again is so widely used it has become a standard media clique. I say how about never leave in the first place.
Tennessee High senior point guard Deshaud Johnson says he agrees and has chosen to continue his basketball career at King College.
Johnson, who helped lead Tennessee High to a state tournament berth in 2005, is a pass first point guard with good quickness and an improved outside shot. He will need to tighten up his handles and work on his decision making to have an immediate impact for King.
King College is a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The Bristol school is coached by Scott Polsgrove and participates in NAIA. The school will be attempting to make the big jump up to Division II in the coming years. |
