TENNESSEE

Dontay Hampton (CSAS) 

Played very aggressive defense and attacked the rim, quick and shot well, showed leaership skills

Julian Reese (LaVergne) 

Athletic guard, slender but played hard will be more effective when he gets stronger, has skills

Michael Nicolo (McMinn Central)

Smart, solid hustler, played both ends of the floor, coaches keep him on the radar, a gamer

Quinton West (Station Camp)

Started like a ball of fire, caught everyones attention before injury, improved with ball and shooting

Antwan Beach (Culleoka)

Big man moves well, still learning how to be effective, must realize his potential very soon

Keenan Froedden (Sycamore)

Freshman was smart, dynamic and will be a varsity staple this year, controls tempo and is under control

Meiko Lyles (NCA)

This young man was dynamite, hitting from everywhere in the gym, will be big big time with more strength

Woody Corell (Creekwood)

Very aggressive freshman, not afraid of contact, long and has a great motor, a favorite of the onlookers

MISSISSIPPI STATE

James Gallman (Fulton)

Showed why he's coveted by mid-majors all over, smart, runs squad, tough, plays both guard spots

Cody Hudson (Harpeth)

Plays so hard and gives maximum effort, improving his shooting and will be a help for Harpeth this year

Kaneal Windom (JCM)

Another favorite with his athletic skills, speed, ball-handling and scoring ability, bright future for 2010 kid

James Cooper (MLK)

Good size still learning the game, will be someone who improves big time during the school year.

DeAngelo Williams (Spring Hill)

Lefty stroker can shoot and is aggressive going to the hole, watch shot selection and get people involved

Cole Robinson (Blackman)

Thick freshman has good size but needs to concentrate on footwork, has good hands

Tereas Clemmons (Wilson Central)

One of the most talked about, Scout.com loved him, can stroke near or far, has great size, sky's the limit

FLORIDA

Jalen Mosley (Webb School)

Quick guard, very young but showed some promise will be very good in his classification immediately

Tyrone Rose (Northwest)

Good athlete who played hard defense all the time, even when not scoring was active, nice surprise

Julian Haile (Shelbyville)

Shot lights out in more than one game, played smart basketball knowing his role, much improved player

Steven Dixon (Harpeth)

"Big Country" has a chance to help Harpeth go far this year, works hard, knows what he can and can't do

DeAndre Mathieu (Knoxville Central)

Fearless little fella who knows nothing but all out hustle, can shoot but will be more effective with strength

Jauwon Cain (Liberty Tech)

Small quick and Liberty tough is this sophomore, needs to work on shooting but plays so hard

Brandon Hunter (Gallatin)

Big surprise with his smart point play and take charge way, tough with contact, made nice passes, nice

Tarius Johnson (Liberty Tech)

Above average speed and quickness coupled with improving offensive skills, one of the better 2010

VANDERBILT

Hassan Cobb (CSAS)

My boy shot lights out in the last game, making strides with the ball, should have great senior season

Tony Whitlow (Hillsboro)

Athletic wing can run and jump must improve offensive skills, has size and should catch some eyes

Jason Seymore (Powell)

Very impressed with Knoxville senior, smart, solid, unselfish in this setting, will be one to watch this year

Austin Blackwell (Oliver Middle)

Exception made for youngster and he did not disappoint, smart, talented, under control, very thin.

Cordaro Williams (Liberty Tech)

Another youngster will keep the Crusaders in the loop, must slow down a bit and make speed effective

Robert Onyejiaka (Brentwood Academy)

Ridiculous athlete who was a major surprise, very nice shooter, will be unleashed at BA this year

Luke Baum (Webb School)

Another youngster who will benefit from strength and footwork, played hard and competed.
