Defending Atlantic Sun regular season champion East Tennessee State got big news today as a player from the opposite end of the state will stake claim there for the next four years.

Jarvis Jones (Mitchell) will take his deadeye jumper and be the next in line from the Bluff City to create headlines on the other coast. Jones is a sweet shooter who can drop 50 in a moment but will need to improve his ball-handling and point skills. He is plenty athletic enough to a staple for years to come in Coach Murray Bartow's system.

Now the task at hand is helping Mitchell get back to Murfreesboro. With Jones and newly transfered point man Erik Buggs (Mitchell), joining big time sophomore Mardracus Wade (Mitchell) and talked about move-in Robert Littlejohn (Mitchell) this could be the team to beat this season.

The commitment of Jones makes 16 for the Class of 2008.
