The top 100 high school teams in the nation by consensus
Eddie Oliver of HoopUSA joined forces with four other media outlets to compile the ultimate high school rankings system for teams.
HoopsUSA teamed with USA Today, Student Sports, PrepNation.com and ihigh.com to make the most comprehensive high school ranking system in the country.
Tennessee is well represented in the poll with five teams in the Top 50 overall.
Memphis Hamilton, the odds on favorite to capture AAA gold comes in at #5.
Brentwood Academy, the four time, four time, four time, four time, DII state champions come in at #6.
Memphis Raleigh-Egypt, the biggest challenge to Hamilton's unbeaten string, break the countdown at #19.
Memphis Mitchell, who played a grueling national schedule this season, breaks the mold coing in at #37.
Shelbyville, who will also make the trek to Murfreesboro, finishes out the Tennessee contingent coming in at #48.
I thought this was a very interesting project and am proud that our state was so well represented nationwide. |
