Class AA gets underway.

Dyer County 70

CPA 69

The game was billed as one of the top first round games in some time. Clash of styles, great coaches, exciting players what more could you ask for.

This one did'nt disappoint.

Rex Pierce knocked down an off-balance buzzer beater lifting Dyer County to a 70-69 victory against the Lions of CPA.

The game was all Dyer County early as Jeremy Kimble scored off the defense and his aggressive mission on the glass. CPA closed the gap to three before the half and had a plan for the second half.

Give the ball to Z.

Zacchues Mason was a man among boys inside scoring 28 markers and grabbing 12 boards and helping the Lions take the lead after three.

The game continued back and forth until Pierce's buzzer beater sealed the victory for the Choctaws and they advance to the second round against Knoxville Fulton.
