How the Tennessee duo faired at the McDonald's All-American Game.
Represent Young Man Represent.
The Volunteer state was done proud by two of the best players to ever set foot on the hardwood as Branden Wright and Thaddeus Young concluded their high school careers at the McDonald's All-American Game in San Diego.
The two superstars suited up for the East squad but fell short in the victory column falling to the West 112-94. Wright, who is headed to play for Roy Williams at North Carolina, dropped in 13 points and Young, who will play for Paul Hewitt at Georgia Tech, filled the bucket with 14 of his own.
The two future ACC foes made us all proud to be Tennesseans. Both student-athletes were solid in the classroom and brought enough pub to the state to last the next couple of years. The dynamic duo was ranked by all the major recruiting services as top ten talent.
The overall exposure that was created as a result of having two high profile players was invaluable for the state of Tennessee. I truly enjoyed watching these two young men conquer the recruiting game and take their rightful place atop the national rankings. Thanks from all of us at Tennessee Prep Hoops. |
