MLK athlete to be a tornado.
Change is good.
With change can come prosperity
King College in lovely Bristol Tennessee has made some changes of their own in recent weeks
The hiring of legendary high school mentor George Pitts was a huge step in the right direction and now comes the signing of one of the players that will help the school with it's impending move to DII.
Clarence Smith, the athletic 6-4 wing from MLK in Nashville, has pledged to become the first recruit of the Pitts era. Smith has length and athletic prowess abound and will thrive under the tuteledge of the venerable coach.
Smith will be a valuable asset in the vaunted pressing style of Pitts with his ability to change direction and his relentless pursuit of the ball. He will improve his strength and become a force at the NAIA institution. King College is currently a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference but will soon be making the huge transition to DII.
